Hi @mediawave

Welcome to the Miro Online Community!

You can follow this guide to embed videos

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017730993-Embedding-Media-to-Boards

But currently, it totally depends on which video you want to embed because few videos can be embedded and few are not!

@mediawave - Any embedded media or sites (videos, Google Drive, websites, etc.) will only show for the person who is launching them. If you need other participants to see what you are doing in real-time, you will need to use 3rd party screen sharing software, e.g., Zoom, Webex, GoToMeeting.

To elaborate on @Soumyadeep Mandal’s comments, just an FYI that the YouTube video uploader may also specify that a video cannot be embedded:

Here’s what you’ll see when embedding is allowed and is NOT allowed:

@Robert Johnson :

On the 27th of february I added this video via embedding to my board:

Today i added the same into my board the right frame shows the result how it changed.

There where from my YouTube Channel I hadn’t changed anything about embedding rights … nothing. - Its a bug - not a feature anymore.

In general, here is how to embed media in boards:

Potential Bug

At the time of this post there appears to be a technical issue with some YouTube videos not acting/embedding as expected in Miro boards. it is unclear if this is a Miro or YouTube issue.
