Here’s what to do if you can’t apply for Education plan, cause your email isn’t accepted

Hi, I am trying to apply for the student plan, but my email address is not being accepted. My email is from University College London (ending with @ucl.ac.uk). I am unsure why it is not recognised, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could advise me or contact me to help resolve this issue. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Hi, I can’t access the Education plan because of email. I can provide any needed documents.

Hey Alyona, I also face issue like this while applying for Germany Student Visa. I have some instructions that can help you to resolve this critical issue. Follow these guidelines and hope so your problem will be sorted soon.
 

If your email isn’t accepted for the Education plan, here’s what you can do:

1. Verify your email domain – Miro’s Education plan typically requires a school or university domain (e.g., .edu or your institution’s official domain). Personal emails like Gmail or Yahoo usually aren’t accepted.

2. Use your institutional email – If you have a student or faculty email, try registering with that.

3. Contact Miro Support – If your school email still doesn’t work, reach out to Miro support with proof of your student/faculty status (e.g., ID card or enrollment confirmation). They can manually approve your account.

4. Alternative options – While waiting, you can use the Free plan with most basic Education features or request a team trial to explore premium features temporarily.

I already have an account which I want  to apply on Educator plan. This is because I already have a lot of boards and my students use them. I have University email, but I don’t want create new account.

Dear ​@Alyona and ​@Eca  I am a professor and I have an institutional account from my university. I am trying also to get an educator account as I teach multimedia and project and find Miro amazing for collaborating work and organising projects. However, I have been trying all day to upgrade my account through the link provided but the icon of uploading (round) shows and the form is not uploaded. Is there any other way I can get my account upgraded it as I am having a class soon and will like to start using this platform. I thank you in advance for your reply.

I am a student at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Unfortunately, my mail is with a domain student.msu.ru not accepted to confirm the educational plan. Two years ago, I was able to confirm my subscription with the same email, but now I can't.

Please help me solve this issue.

If your school email isn’t being accepted, just drop a message here and the community team will turn it into a support ticket. They’ll manually review your eligibility and help you get the Education plan even without the standard domain email.

Hello! I have the same problem. My uni has an official email that ends with .ru, there is no existing email address with .com ending. That's why I cannot apply for a free student plan. Please help me to find a solution

I am a teacher at Slovyansk Energy Building Vocational College in Ukraine.

I want to apply for the Education Plan, but my college does not provide corporate emails (.edu), so I have to use my personal Gmail for work.

The application form redirects me here because my email is not accepted.

I have an official certificate of employment. Please convert this post into a private ticket so I can send you my documents manually.
