Help with board

Hello, I am faced with a gap on iPad 16A OS version 26.3.1(a). The problem is this: when I write on the blackboard, at some arbitrary moment the whole board freezes, I can't write anything, and I can't do anything with my fingers either, until I swipe the top curtain of the iPad.

Hi @Shutka772

Thanks for sharing this! Based on similar reports, this behavior is often due to:

  • The board becomes resource-heavy (elements, drawings, or long session)
  • A temporary glitch between touch input and the app
  • Recent iPadOS or app updates causing instability
  • The app running in the background for a long time without refresh

Swiping down the top curtain briefly “resets” the screen, which is why it starts working again.

You may try:

  • Force close and reopen the Miro app
  • Make sure both Miro app and iPadOS are up to date
  • Try restarting your iPad
  • Test on a different board to see if it’s board-specific
  • If the board is large, try:
    • Zooming into smaller areas while working
    • Splitting content into multiple boards if possible
  • If you’re using a browser, try switching to the Miro app (or vice versa)

If the issue continues, please share a screen recording and we can help escalate this to the support team if needed.
