I’m at my wits end. I created a miro board under a free account. I’ve been working on it for months. Now I can’t find my account at all. I’ve checked my history on all of my browsers (Safari, DuckDuckGo & Chrome) and I can’t find any inkling it ever existed. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi @TGOYAdmin,

Thanks for reaching out!

I can see you’ve reached out to support team but has not received any response yet. You mentioned that you could not find your account at all. Is my understanding correct that your profile is the one you wish to "recover" or is it a board?

With that could you please share the following:

  • Name of the board
  • when was the last time you were able to access your profile in Miro
  • the date and time when the board was created
  • what is the name of the team where the board was stored
  • URL link of the board

With this I will do my best to check on my end and I will share with you the information via this thread or via DMs (especially if it contains a more personal info). I also recommend sharing it with the Miro support team as providing these details could help expedite the process.

Hi @Eca!

Thank you for your help! Yes, I’ve used Miro under various teams over the last few years so when I started this board, I didn’t notice that it said Placeholder Name instead of my user name. I’d worked on this board for months using my Safari browser.

  • Name of board: Flowchart board
  • Last time accessed: September 2024
  • Date and time board created: I’m not sure, but I shared it early on with my best friend on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 10:07pm
  • What is the name of the team where the board was stored: Bible Study team
  • URL Link of the board: I do not have this information. I can forward the email invite sent to my friend if that helps.

Hi @TGOYAdmin,

Thank you for the details! I’ve gone ahead and sent you a DM. Please check your inbox.
