Grouping board with symbols and locking them

If I use symbols on my kanban board and I add cards, the symbols do not stay where they are supposed to stay even if I lock them. I already tried using a frame but that doens’t help either.

Thanks for your answer. Yes i will add befor and after screenshots: 

 

 

After adding a card in the colum above the symbol moves up

this may actually be an unintended consequence of the Kanban board capability. I’d recommend opening a Miro support request here to get confirmation that this is a limitation of that feature: Submit a request – Miro Support & Help Center
