Hi

Up until recently I could lock Grids (now called Tables) and people still could enter text into Cells. This behaviour seems to have changed in the last few days (approx. 15 March 2021).

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Any idea why it was changed? It was a super useful feature and I want it back!!! Please ;)

Cheers

@Ralph - Others are reporting the same behaviour. What's unclear is whether the ability to enter text in a locked table was a bug or a feature and if it has now been fixed or broken.

I'd suggest that you voice your concerns/feedback in the official changelog announcement of "Grids are now Tables":

I would also suggest that everyone continue to use the “Feedback” option that appears at the bottom-right corner of the Table while it is still an option:

No progress with table locking features which is a crucial function when working with big groups.
