Grid no longer allows formatting of specific text

Yes I just noticed this, it’s extremely upsetting to be honest 😭, creating individual textboxes for each word if you want to change color of font is very annoying. Why even make this change? Is there a way to revert to previous versions?

Thanks for flagging this. I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my end — the text formatting controls in Grid cells are still working as expected, and I haven’t seen other reports of this recently.

Could you check again and let me know:

• Which browser or app version you’re using

• If this happens on a specific board or in all boards

• Whether clearing the cache or trying incognito mode changes anything

• If possible, kindly share a short video demonstrating the issue so I can test on my end

This will help us narrow down what might be causing the problem on your side.

Hello, I also have this problem. I'm using Firefox Version 148.0.2 (64-bit). Clearing the cache and using incognito mode didn't change anything.

I’ve been having the same problem for a couple of weeks. Clearing the cache, restarting the browser, and restarting the computer does not help. I’m using Chrome Version 146.0.7680.80 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Same - clearing caches, restarting browser/computer, incognito window does not fix it. The issue occurs in both chrome and edge and desktop version. 

NOTE: I have just found a work around…if you create a new frame and copy/paste the grid into that new frame, then the format control bar is visible again for the selected partial text in a given cell in the grid. Also, found that if you add a new grid to the existing frame where older grid had the issue, the new grid does not have the formatting control for partial text in a grid cell.
