For those who also want to type fractions, please note that the unicode “fraction bar” symbol

Now reliably makes numbers before and after it into a fraction.

This is a different symbol than the / on your keyboard!

There are still some bugs, for example if you try to make the fraction bold it often messes up the spacing before or after the text.  But with copy-and-paste of that unicode character it’s at least somewhat possible to easily type fractions now!
