for Customer Support - Miro running on tab in Firefox prevents my Windows 11 desktop from properly going to sleep or hibernating.   If I close Miro Tab, my PC runs perfect.  If I have Miro Tab open, PC does not operate properly.  You bug to fix I assume.

Hi @Walt Johnson  — thanks for reporting this behavior.

Miro running in a Firefox tab may interfere with system sleep/hibernation on Windows 11. This could be due to background activity in the browser tab (like real-time syncing) that keeps the system in an “active” state.

Try using:

  • Chrome or Edge instead of Firefox
  • Or close the Miro tab when stepping away from your device

Whether the issue happens with just any board open, or specific ones. Or when Miro is open but idle, or actively being used when the issue happens, you can include this info in a support ticket here — they’ll be able to gather logs if needed.

Thank you.  Using a different browser is NOT an acceptable solution to the bug.  Obviously, closing Miro tab in browser, is just a silly work around.
ok, I will formalize with a ticket.  Thanks
