Dotted lines becoming solid

Basically what it says. I’m using dotted lines, and without any input from me, some are turning solid. Yet when I click on them to change them back, it says they’re still on the dotted line setting. I can change them to dashed lines. If I delete them and try again, the line shows up as solid. It doesn’t affect every dotted line, just some.
