How do I edit text size and boldness if it’s not pre-set in the template? I am using the established Dotted Line Org Chart template. I’ve made the top line the title which automatically bolds it. For the line underneath (the name), I want to bold it as well so that it’s equivalent to the title line. Would you please let me know how to edit the text format of that second line?

Hi @KaylieARent

I just tested this on my end using the Dotted Line Org Chart template from the Miro template picker. Can I confirm if this is the same one you’ve applied to your board? If not, I’d be happy to share the template link so you can try it out directly. Let me know!

Thank you for your response. Yes, this is the one! Now, the title of ‘Marketing Manager for example, are you able to bold that?

Hi @KaylieARent, thanks for confirming!

The Dotted Line Org Chart template uses Miro’s Org Chart smart structure, which has fixed text formatting. The top line (usually the name) and the position below it are automatically styled by the component itself. However, text styles like bold, font size, or alignment can’t be manually changed within these fields.

As a workaround, you can use the Mind Map tool or manually build the chart using shapes or cards, then connect them with lines. This gives you full control over the formatting and layout if customization is important for your use case.
