Any tips of using documents, when I create a document, it can be massive and take a large space  (long and thin)on the canvas. If insert just a document will it be able to be read by the AI tool?

Hi ​@CJo Great question — yes, Miro’s AI tools can read content from a Document object on the board, even if it’s long or takes up a lot of canvas space. You don’t need to expand the whole document for AI to process it.

A few tips to make working with documents easier:

  • Use zoom shortcuts (Ctrl/Cmd + 1) to quickly focus on your document.

  • Collapse long sections using headers to save space.

  • If your doc becomes too large, consider splitting it into smaller linked documents for better navigation.

If your goal is for AI to summarize or generate ideas from it, just select the document or paste the docs content in the prompt before running the AI action.
