How do I disable shortcuts? I have to use my keyboard for other functions.
Unfortunately as per the FAQ at the bottom of this article (https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017731033-Shortcuts-and-hotkeys), there is no way to disable shortcuts.
Feel free to add (and upvote) a new enhancement request for this capability following the guidelines here: Wish List: Everything You Need to Know 🌠 | Miro

This power-user type of interface overwhelms new users and annoys even experienced users. This presumably minimally used feature is extremely disruptive, constantly adding new shapes unexpectedly

I have been using shortcuts in every board session (if not daily, then at least multiple days each week) for nearly eight years. Even though I occasionally end up renaming a frame to “n” after attempting to create a new sticky note, the benefits still outweigh the rare mishaps for me. Shortcuts are what help me move as quickly as I do in Miro. In fact, I created my first video on how I use shortcuts to work fast in Miro:

One of the lesser-known shortcuts in Miro is using the number keys 1–9 to execute the first nine apps in the creation bar. So what I do is place the apps I use the most (and that don’t already have shortcuts) in spots 2–9. This gives me access to all the core apps that already have single-key shortcuts, plus nine other apps (including custom-installed ones) that I use the most. Altogether, I can access around 25 apps with a single key press, which greatly reduces interruptions in my workflow.
Here’s the chapter where I talk more about this: 5:33 Part 3: Customizing the Creation Bar
