Custom objects

Hi,

I am assessing Miro for use in our online training.

Our training uses specific icons / Shapes to represent specific idea’s and imagery. Currently the use physical versions of these and send to all our participants for use in the training. This is expensive in many ways.

I am looking to use this platform to replace these physical shapes with digital ones that the participants and the hot can use concurrently.

Can our original files be imported into Miro for this concurrent use.


An added benefit would be the ability to use these in Zoom breakout rooms and take them back into the main area for use in group discussions.

Thanks in advance for any input into this.

You can certainly import in scanned or photographed versions of the physical objects and could add to them to a Miro Template which could be imported for any boards where you plan to use these objects.

The only thing I’d suggest is while directly translating the physical world into the virtual one is fine, you might find a better original way to do it in the virtual world. I found this out when transitioning our courseware for in person courses to virtual ones two years back.
