Cursor offset issue in Miro web version

Hi, everyone! Recently, I encountered some strange cursor behaviour. There is a significant distance between the cursor and the working area (the actual click/selection position). I'll add a screenshot for clarity. I noticed this behavior in the web version. I haven't checked the app yet. Could anyone tell me if this is a bug or if there is some strange setting that changes this distance?

HI @Ruslan Kabak

thanks for flagging this!

I tried to replicate this on my end but wasn’t able to reproduce the same cursor offset behavior.

In the meantime, you might also try:

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies

  • Testing in a private/incognito window or another browser

  • Setting your browser zoom to 100%

If the issue persists after that, I can have this raised to the support team for a closer look.

This happens 100% of the time, every mouse click, in current Firefox (149.0.2 aarch) on Mac.
It does not happen in any other browser.

  • Click in a rectangle, rectangle to the left of it reacts to the click.
  •  Offset your mouse click to get the rectangle where you want to edit text, the text instantly indents an inch to the right and you can edit it. When you’re done editing, the text jumps back to the left.

Huge problem. Miro becomes unusable in complex diagrams.
