Hi all,
I am Salvo; nice to meet you! I created some illustrations using the Miro's template “Characters Mix & Match Icebraker” - https://miro.com/app/dashboard/?tpTemplate=c4e77c53-9ac8-4f1b-aa07-a4b025f7073b&isCustom=false&share_link_id=741924104188
I am not sure if I can use such illustrations for a Publication. Unfoortunately, there are no clear indications on how to proceed with this matter. Can anyone help with this dilemma?
I am thinking of writing the following sentence in my article: “Illustrations for Personas were designed on Miro (miro.com) using the “Characters Mix & Match Icebraker template” created by Facilitator School (https://miro.com/app/dashboard/?tpTemplate=c4e77c53-9ac8-4f1b-aa07-a4b025f7073b&isCustom=false&share_link_id=741924104188).”
Would it be enough?
Best,
Salvo
HI
Thanks for sharing - that’s a terrific template I am sure I will be using!
When I looked at that template, I saw a clear statement that they obtained the images from Open Peeps, https://www.openpeeps.com/. On that homepage, it does say “free for commercial and personal use.”
Probably you might want to dig a bit deeper, but if everything checks out it seems to me like you are free to use everything in accordance with the Creative Commons license, https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/
Have fun - and thanks for sharing! Ken
