Hi,
I am working with a Database Entity Relationship Board, and starting this morning using Ctrl c, Ctrl v is not working when I select a connector or I select text, or a table object on the board, it does not copy or paste anything, and when you try to do copy and paste within a table object where you have many columns in the same cell the text gets jumbled up and when you paste it inserts blank lines above and below the text you are trying to copy and paste.

I am working in Chrome and I have cleared cookies and cache data to no effect.

Additional info:

Using right click Copy and Paste is also not working correctly.

If you select a text label copy and paste, it only pastes the actual text, but it loses any color or sizing of the source text.

If you select grouped objects such as a table object and text label, it will sporadically only copy the text label, if you then just select and copy the table object it tries to paste the previous text label and not the table.
 

If you have multiple columns in the same cell in a table object when you drop a cursor in that box, the text jumbles, it loses track of line feeds.

It sounds like something might be off with the ERD object behavior, especially since this started recently and affects both keyboard shortcuts and right-click actions. I haven’t seen other reports of this yet, but based on what you’ve described, I’ll go ahead and convert your post into a support ticket so the team can investigate further.

 

They’ll be able to check what’s going on behind the scenes and confirm whether this is a bug or something that recently changed. You should hear from them soon via email.

Update:
Still does not work in Chrome or Edge regular browser window even if you clear all time cookies and cache.

but….

Cut and Paste works fine in a Chrome incognito window.  I have the following extensions mandatory enabled by my company:
- Adblock Plus
- Adobe Acrobat
- Island Engine
- Microsoft SSO
- Ring Central

Miro Support is engaged.


Issue persists in Chrome or Edge regular window, but works in incognito mode.  I tried allowing clipboard on the extensions listed above to no effect.  I also tried allowing Miro.com on the Adblock extension to no effect.

The solution for me, at least is to use the Miro Desktop app that works great.
