ChatGPT Integration/Permissions Issue - Please assist!!

It sounds more like a permissions/authorization issue than a Miro Free-plan limitation. I would check that you have Can edit access to the board, then disconnect and reconnect Miro in ChatGPT to refresh the permissions. If it still only allows reading, the current ChatGPT Miro integration may be limited to read only actions for your connection.

Thanks for the details and screenshot. To better understand what you’re trying to accomplish, could you share a bit more about the following:

• What would you like ChatGPT to do with your Miro board—for example, create new content, move or edit existing objects, organize the board, or something else?
• What specific action are you trying to have ChatGPT perform that currently only works in read mode?
• Are you trying to have ChatGPT make changes directly to an existing Miro board, or are you hoping to have ChatGPT generate something that you can then add to the board?
• Is this happening with one specific board or with any Miro board you connect to ChatGPT?

This will help us understand whether the issue is with the edit permission itself or whether the workflow you’re trying to achieve is supported by the Miro–ChatGPT integration.

​@Eca I am building some automations that will eventually go into a portfolio. Miro is the tool Im using for documenting workflows. I have been working with Chat on things like trouble shooting and drafting workflows, etc. I usually take pieces of our conversation and adapt it to Miro, but that can be somewhat arduous. I integrated with Miro to start testing out the capabilities, and it has been great to not have to send as many screenshots in my chat strings. 

I am looking to experiment with Edits to see if Chat can draft the flowcharts for me, make additions and/or changes, and help with formatting (potentially). The UI is easy to use so I might format manually depending on Credit cost. I am curious about how many credits each action will use so I can make a decision about which Miro tier to stay on. Currently I am on Free, and I switched over from Web to Desktop in the last week. 

Bc I am on the free plan I have consolidated everything into two large boards, and have only tried interfacing with my automation board thus far. I don’t have more specifics for my use case as of yet, because I aim to tinker and find out more! :)
