Hi,

Is it possible to change the foreground color of wireframe buttons? Now its always white, which isn’t always the best choice.

Thank you for your reply, but I want to be able to create buttons with specific foreground and background colors from our product’s palette. I will create an “Idea” for this, but I guess I’ll have to continue to draw my own buttons using a rectangle, text and icon until further notice.

Hi @henjoh

Sorry to hear you’re having issues. In your screenshot, there is a grey circle in the bar, which if you click it, will drop down more color options. In the screenshot below, you’ll see that the pink is selected, making the button background pink, which makes the text easier to read.

You are correct -- I also wasn’t able to alter the text to be anything but white with a color background.

However, there is an option to make the button white with color text (see second screenshot). This is done by checking the second icon at the top.

Hope this helps.

@henjoh  -- Thanks for submitting a Wish List Idea. Yes, the multi-step option of box + text + icon is another workaround. I know it wasn’t the answer you were looking for but thank you for mentioning it, in case it’s useful to other users.
