Cant view user settings - just keeps creating new boards

Hi all, I am having a weird user experience problem that i have not encountered before.  When i am trying to see the setting or the team members on a board - selecting eitehgr icon just creates a new untiltied board… i dont get taken to the list of team members or the settings.  We are currently on Business plan license - only have 3 users and 3 boards so i dont think it is a licensing problem.  My site admin has told me i am set up as admin too which should mean i can see who can access the boards etc?  Driving me nuts,.,.. creating untilted boards uncessarily etc.

@MichelleCSBA - I am assuming you are referring to these actions/icons?

 

Both of these are working as expected for me in Chrome and the Miro desktop app on Windows 11.

If clearing your cache and cookies (or resetting the app data) do not resolve the issue, I’d recommend opening a support ticket by following these steps:

You can also set to the profile settings page by selecting your profile name at the bottom-left corner of the dashboard and then Settings.

Yes those features are not working… i have taken screen capture but cant get it to load up here… i have raised support ticket - had a look at the resetting app data - thanks very much for that advice.

Can confirm, this does not work on Version 131.0.6778.86 (Official Build) (arm64) using Mac OS 14.5 (23F79). 

Cant use the link you posted, cant use any way to access the settings. ANY miro link I press that is not a board - creates a new board. I have hundreds now. please fix.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue. Could you kindly let me know which button you clicked that triggered the new board to be created? Was it related to the team settings, profile settings, or another option?

I clicked the “Profile” button on the drop down from my name on the main screen, or in a board when i click my avatar, in that resulting dropdown its clicking “Profile Settings” both do the same thing. I’ve turned off all Extensions to no avail

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies as sometimes, cached data can interfere with how things load.
  2. Try a different browser - It could help to check if the issue persists across different browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
  3. Test using your browser's incognito mode to see if the issue persists without any additional extensions or cached data interfering.

If the issue continues please share this with the support team and provide as much detail as possible.
