Hi @E P, thanks for sharing these details.

It looks like you’re experiencing a disconnect/reconnect issues in Miro across both browser and desktop app on Windows 10. Since you’ve mentioned that you’re on a wireless connection and using a VPN, a couple of things to check:

  • Try disabling the VPN temporarily to see if the behavior changes. VPNs can sometimes cause unstable real-time connections with Miro.

  • Test on another network if possible (for example, a mobile hotspot) to rule out local network/firewall issues.

  • Try another device (even briefly, like a phone or tablet) on the same network. This will help us narrow down whether the issue is device-specific or network-related.

  • Check firewall/security settings on your device that might be interfering with WebSocket connections.

If after trying these steps the issue continues, please let us know what you observe—especially whether disabling the VPN or switching networks makes any difference. That will help the team narrow this down further.

I gave up and made a new copy of my most important board. So far so good.

Will try these sleuthing steps some other day when I have a lot of time.

Thanks, though.
