Can't move a subtopic

Hi all, I’ve tried everything to move my subtopic but as you can see below, the “Central Nervous System” and “Peripheral Nervous System” are on top of my picture and even when I drag it down, it pops straight back into the original position. Please help! Thank you!

Thanks for sharing the screenshot — I can see what you mean. What’s happening here is that those branches are part of a Mind Map in Miro. In a Mind Map, subtopics are automatically “anchored” to their parent node and the app controls their position, so dragging them freely won’t work (they’ll snap back as you noticed).

 

You’ve got a couple of options:

 

  1. Detach the item

  2. Reduce the font size
     

  3. Adjust the size of the image
     

So, if you want them to stay part of the Mind Map, you’ll be limited to Miro’s auto-layout. If you want absolute freedom, converting them into standalone objects is the way to go.
