Thanks for reaching out! I understand that you don’t want to lose your work once your paid Miro plan ends.

Here are your options:

After downgrading from paid to free or if your plan ends

• You still keep access to your existing projects/boards, they won’t be deleted.

• On the Free plan, only 3 boards per team will be active/editable. The rest are locked to view-only.

Exporting your boards

• Image/PDF export → available on Free plan but only as a lower-resolution export. High-quality PDF/SVG export requires a paid plan.

• RTB (Miro backup format) → available on paid plans only, so you’ll need to export before your subscription ends if you want a backup.

• HTML export is not supported in Miro.

Using files later:

• You can always re-upgrade in the future to reopen your backups (RTB files).

• You can also save your boards as PDFs/images for reference if you just need to view the content later outside of Miro.

I suggest before your plan ends, export your most important boards either as RTB backups (if you might return to Miro later) or as PDFs/images (if you only need to view them).
