“Documents” are completely unusable.

I take the time to setup headings, lists, etc.

When I click out of the document so I can exit edit mode and go to something else, it arbitrarily deletes text, jumbles lines together, etc.

It’s a living disaster.

I can edit and fix it all again, but as soon as I click out, it happens again.

Below are before (while in edit) and after (after clicking out) screenshots

Hi @Richard Pickett thanks for reaching out!

The behavior you described (text deleting or jumbling as soon as you exit edit mode in Documents) is not expected. I also tested it on my side (I copied the text in your screenshot and tried replicating the formatting), but couldn’t reproduce the issue — headings, lists, and text formatting stayed intact after clicking out of edit mode.

In the meantime, a few quick steps that might help:

  • Try editing the document in a different browser (Chrome recommended) or in the Miro desktop app to see if the same behavior occurs

  • Clear your browser cache/cookies or update to the latest app version.

  • Reload the browser or app after editing the document.

  • Check if the issue happens on all documents or only a specific one

To help the team narrow things down, could you also share:

  • Which browser or app version you’re using

  • Your operating system and version

  • Whether this happens only with Documents or also with other object types (e.g., text boxes, sticky notes)
