Was there a strategic or product reason why the Figma plugin was discontinued and removed?! Lots of companies relied on this plugin to publish Figma frames into their Miro workspaces. It worked well and provided a convenient and efficient process to publish Figma content into Miro. Why in the world would Miro want to remove this? There are no alternatives and frankly I’m disappointed and angry with this decision. Hoping someone from the product team can respond and address this. Thank you.

Hi @John Ghadimi, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback — I can hear how important the Figma plugin was to your workflow!

The original Figma plugin was sunset earlier this year, and users who had recently used the integration were notified ahead of time. The decision was part of a shift toward supporting Figma embeds via Miro’s updated embed integration (currently in Beta). You can read more about that here:
👉 Embed integrations on a Miro board (BETA)

While it doesn’t yet offer full feature parity with the previous plugin, the embed approach is part of Miro’s ongoing effort to create a more flexible, streamlined integration experience across tools.

In the meantime, if there’s a specific feature or workflow that the new embed option doesn’t support for your team, feel free to share it to the Community and if you want more improvement or request you can alway submit your idea to the Wishlist thread!

Is there a way to bring this plugin back until its out of beta at least and certain features like commenting gets supported? I really depend on this plugin, it saves so much time …

Please bring it back (at least until the transition phase is over). Would help a lot …

Thanks
Jannis
