Boards/ + Create New Unavailable

I previously used Miro without any issue. I decided to fire it up again under a free account but don’t see any boards listed. I may have removed them, I honestly don’t remember. I tried to create a new board but the option +Create New is not available. The entire dashboard is empty of any data or function (image attached). I’m not part of any teams that I am aware of; free plan. Probably need someone at Miro to check my account to confirm I am not on any teams and I am not blocked (maybe I had too many boards before and it locks?).

HI ​@Charles Stiles and ​@newtsaet thanks for reaching out and sharing the issue you encountered.

 

It is possible that the boards you owned before could have been deleted especially if the team was inactive for more than 12 months or in another team where you are not a member anymore.

 

But, if you’d like to create a new free team, there should be a button at the upper left part of your dashboard allowing you to create a team of your own.

To this end, since there are missig boards and there’s no option to create a new team, I have both of your cases converted to a support ticket so the team can check on your account on the backend. Kindly provide more information (like board URL link, name of the board, or name of the team) with supports in the ticket once they reply.

    Hi, sorry I don’t have any answers to your problem. I’m following because I’m having the exact same situation.

    I’ve seen in some videos, when you aren’t part of any team a pop-up should appear asking you to create your first team. What happens here is that this pop-up does not appear at all, and there’s no manual button to create a team. It did appear once for me but then I couldn’t interact with my browser anymore and had to force quit (not sure if it made Firefox crash or if it was on my side).

    I’ve tried on another browser and incognito mode, and nothing changed, still no pop-up. Same on the desktop app. I’m assuming there is a bug on Miro’s side, but with a free account you can’t even contact support to to a bug report.
