I am writing to seek official clarification regarding some circulating rumors about Miro potentially blocking or limiting IP access for users in Russia.

Recently, some users have reported receiving (or being forwarded) an email that appears to be from Miro, stating that access for users in Russia and Belarus will be restricted starting on a specific date (e.g., October 15). However, many users, including myself, have not received any such official communication directly in our registered inboxes. The messages circulating seem to be forwarded from personal email accounts rather than sent directly by Miro.

Furthermore, the service currently remains fully accessible for many, which only adds to the confusion.

Could a Miro representative or community manager please clarify the following:

  1. Are there any upcoming, unannounced changes to IP access policies for users in Russia?
  2. Was an official mass email recently sent out regarding this, or are the circulating messages likely modified/forwarded versions of older communications?

Thank you in advance for clearing this up. An official statement would be greatly appreciated to help prevent unnecessary panic and misinformation among users.

HI @Anastasia23

Thanks for reaching out! I’ve converted your case to a Support ticket, and the team will follow up with you there.

Please note that the team is currently handling a high volume of tickets, so the response may take a little longer than usual. Thanks for your patience!
