I’m being signed out from the website anytime I access any feature, sometimes I don’t even leave the login screen. I quit Miro because of this issue 8 months ago, now i’m back and I still have the same issue on a completely different computer.

I have cleared my cache and cookies and followed all the FAQ suggestions surrounding logging in, and I’ve even made a second account to no avail. This is a persistent issue, using Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. I really want to use Miro but the site is doing all it can to stop me.

Hi @Aurelius V, thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like the session isn’t being maintained across page loads, which could point to a few things outside of just browser cache.

Here’s a concise troubleshooting flow you could try:

  1. Check system clock/date – If your device’s time is off (even by minutes), login cookies can immediately expire.

  2. Disable all browser extensions – Some privacy/ad-block tools block session cookies. Try logging in from an incognito/private window with no extensions.

  3. Test from another network – Sometimes corporate firewalls, VPNs, or certain ISPs block session handling. Try on mobile hotspot or a different Wi-Fi.

  4. Ensure cookies aren’t blocked – In Chrome/Firefox/Safari, confirm that cookies for miro.com are allowed and not set to auto-delete on exit.

  5. Check antivirus or security software – Some interfere with browser cookies or scripts. Temporarily disable to test.

  6. Create a fresh browser profile – Not just a new account, but a clean browser profile without prior settings.

If you’ve done all that and it persists, it’s worth contacting Miro support with:

  • Browser and version

  • OS version

  • Steps to reproduce

  • Screenshot or video showing logout happening

Please let me know if you encounter any issues contacting supports.
