There is no native method of automate backups of boards but there is an option for backup & export and you can have a look at this documentation/guide

Hi Soumyadeep,

We are aware of the board backup and export options, but I was wondering if MIRO has any plans or working to develope an automatic backups feature?

MIRO is a great tool and I can see a lot of companies are using this tool now and I am very surprise they haven’t developed this feature yet.

@Percy Allendes - As you know and @Soumyadeep Mandal pointed out, there is no way to download a board backup from outside of the user interface (or at least I can’t find any info on how to do so using Miro’s API).

I suggest that you add your comments/vote for the API call to export board Wish List Idea.

I also found this post where someone asked a similar question and a Miro Software Engineer answered. Since the post is closed for comments, I’ll tag @Daniela Gavidia here and ask if there are any plans (you can tell us about) for Miro to add an API board export call?

Exporting a board through the API is not currently supported. I can’t comment on future features, but this is a common request, so I’d suggest upvoting it in the Wish List for visibility.
