On comments I'm getting  response that  includes  “@noname”  
I suspect that is because they have been invited but have not had accepted  is that  correct?

Or they entered “noname” in their account profile “First & Last Name” field?

I just did a test of leaving a comment as an anonymous visitor and see the following:
