I’m also facing the same issue. The double tap is not switching to eraser which was the most helpful feature. I updated to latest Miro today (24th Jan) as well but no luck.

Double tap works fine in Notes.

Got the same problem - works fine in onenote - but not in MIRO.

The same thing happens to me, why?

I believe this happens when you move around with your fingers, it switches to the cursor tool automatically. Then when you double tap, you’re only switching back to the pen tool. It’s annoying, but I usually just do four taps to get to the eraser tool after moving around. I hope they fix this soon!

Hi everyone! 👋

Thanks for sharing your experiences and workarounds. We know the double-tap feature is super useful, and the feedback about its inconsistency in Miro on iPad is valuable. I’ll pass this on to the team as a feature improvement request. In the meantime, you can reach out support for further assistance and more thorough investigation. If there are any updates or specific troubleshooting steps to try, I’ll keep you all posted here! 😊

I have the same problem. It used to work fine, but now I can’t switch from pencil to eraser with a double tap.

I think this is a bug within Miro and not with Apple. Since I use the Apple pencil pro I can feel that the double tap feature is working because of the haptic feedback. However, nothing happens within the Miro app. Even after rebooting and re-installing Miro.

Is there anyone from the Miro team that can comment on this bug? As a UX designer this bug destroys my workflow.
