I’d like to use miro for whiteboarding with my apple pencil. However when I use the Pen tool, it always adjusts the lines i draw often times in a negative way. I’d like for the things I draw to be true to what I did but the lines keep auto correcting to smooth them out.

If there anyway to turn this auto smoothing off?

Hi @Bernardo Arevalo – thanks for posting!

At the moment, Miro’s Pen tool does apply automatic smoothing to hand-drawn lines, which can affect the precision of what you sketch—especially when using tools like Apple Pencil. Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a built-in setting to disable this behavior.

That said, I’d recommend submitting this as a feature request via Miro’s Wish List, or upvoting similar suggestions if they already exist. It helps the product team prioritize these kinds of user needs.

In the meantime, if you need pixel-perfect accuracy, importing drawings from other apps could be a helpful workaround.

Let us know if you find any tricks that help improve the experience—we’ll keep an eye on this too!
