Is it possible for Miro to automatically capture a presentation discussion in sticky notes? Can the AI tool in Miro assist with this?

Hi @Miriam van der Lubbe,

Great question!

Miro’s AI tools can help summarize content that already exists on your board—like sticky notes, text boxes, and comments—but it doesn’t currently offer real-time note-taking or automatic transcription of live presentations or discussions.

However, here are a couple of workarounds that might help:

  • If you record the discussion using a separate transcription tool (like Otter.ai, Zoom transcription, or Google Meet’s captions), you can then paste the transcript into a Miro text box or sticky notes, and use Miro Assist to summarize or cluster the content.

  • You can also use Miro Assist to help group, name, or extract insights once the text is on the board.

If real-time capture is something you’d like to see, I’d recommend sharing it on the Miro Wish List—the product team actively reviews suggestions there.

Let me know if you’d like help setting up a board for post-meeting summaries!

AI-assisted note-taking in Miro could be a game changer during fast-paced brainstorming or workshops. Automatically turning spoken discussions into sticky notes would save a lot of manual effort.
