Adding Multiple Dates in Intelligent Roadmap

I’ve been using the intelligent roadmap template and I can’t figure out how to add multiple dates for a row (e.g. for a quarterly report). Trying to duplicate the item just leads to the entire map duplicating and I would prefer not to just create basic shapes to drop in as this partly defeats the purpose of the intelligent template.

Has anyone had any success with this?

Hi @RubyB,

Thanks for pointing it out!

The intelligent roadmap template uses Miro's timeline app, which you can customize by days and weeks to fit reporting cycles like quarters! Just click the calendar icon in the top left corner of the timeline app, and you'll be able to adjust the timeframe to suit your needs.

To change the start and end dates for a specific record, drag either end of the time bar.

 Hi @RubyB,

Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please share the exact template link as I could not find the template you are using on your end from the template picker.

I look forward to your response!

Thank you Eca, it’s the Roadmap Planning template on the top right in your screenshot.

Hi Eca, Thank you for your response. It’s not the timeline that’s the issue, I want to add multiple cards on one row. For example, if I have “Quarterly Report” as an item, I want to add cards for this every quarter for the year. At the moment the only way I can do this is to have 4 rows all called “Quarterly report”.

Can also +1 this as we need it for mapping marketing offers that may repeat at intervals on the timeline

Hi @RubyB and @Tim Corin

Thanks for sharing your feedback! Currently, the intelligent roadmap template doesn’t support adding multiple cards on a single row at different dates. A workaround would be to manually place cards or use additional rows, but I understand that’s not ideal.

If you’d like to see this feature added, I’d recommend submitting a feature request in Miro’s Wish List. This helps the product team gauge interest and prioritize improvements. You can also upvote similar requests from other users!

Let me know if I can help further. 😊
