Hello,

 

I have always added templates to a board through the option on the left toolbar in the boards, however this option is not shown to me anymore for a few weeks already. I use the free license (so I join boards with a password).

I could see that this option is now only available to users who have a license.

I can see the templates from the dashboard, for example, but this is available for adding a template directly when creating a board. On existing boards, this option isn't there anymore.

Was this feature removed from the free license users?

Just to clarify a few things so we can better understand what’s happening:

  • Could you share a screenshot or short video showing what you see on the board toolbar?

  • Does this happen on all boards you join, or only specific ones?

  • Which device and browser/app are you using?

  • Have you already tried any troubleshooting steps (like testing in another browser, clearing cache, or reinstalling the app), and if so did it change anything?

This will help us confirm whether the behavior is expected with the Free plan or if something else is going on.


Hi ​@Eca, you can see the screenshot below.

The templates option should be shown as one of the last options on the Essentials list (between Sticky Stack and Text). All the users in my company with a paid license can see it. I have checked also other free license users in my company that also do not have this option available anymore. So the issue happens not only for all boards I have access to, but also all the other users without a paid license. I am using MS Edge browser on a Windows machine. I have already updated the browser, cleared cache, etc.

For me, it doesn’t seem to be a technical issue, but something related to the license.

Hi ​@Eca, I have the same problem. I am unable to see the Templates option like you do. Is this under paid license only? Keen to getting this resolved this as soon as possible
