Hello Miro community!

I would like to ask for your advice regarding my Miro account and team.

Currently, my main Miro account and the team are created using my university (corporate) email address. This email will be permanently deleted approximately six months after I graduate, as it is managed by the university.

At the same time, my team already includes my other personal Miro account (with a private email address).

I would like to clarify the following points:

  1. If the university email account is deleted, will the boards and the team still be preserved?
  2. Will my personal account remain a member or owner of the team, or is there a risk that the team and boards will be lost?
  3. If there is a risk, what would you recommend doing in advance to ensure that all boards and the team remain accessible?
For example, should I transfer ownership of the team or boards to my personal account?

Additionally, I am aware that Miro offers a special subscription or support program for Ukrainian users. Could you please let me know:

  • how I can apply for this subscription,
  • and what requirements or steps are needed?

Thank you very much for your help. I will appreciate any guidance to make sure everything is set up correctly in advance.

HI @Ангеліна Шупрудько, thanks for reaching out!

You can change your Miro profile’s associated email address. You’d need to set up a password first for you to successfully process the change. You can click the forgot password option in the sign in page after entering your current email address. Once done, you can follow the steps here to change your email address so you can still access your Miro profile and boards stored in the team.

As for the Ukrainian subscription, I have your case converted to a support ticket so the team can help you. You should receive a response from them soon!
