Just to help narrow things down:

Are you working on a shared team board or your own personal board?

Can you still edit other elements on the board, or is it just the text inside the User Story Mapping cards that’s locked?

Have you tried refreshing the board or checking in a different browser or incognito window to rule out browser extensions or caching issues?
That said, if your editing access suddenly changed, it might be linked to recent board permission changes — for example, if the board owner updated your role or if the board was moved between teams. If this was working before and suddenly stopped, it’s worth checking that you're still listed as an editor on the board.

Same thing has happened to me in both browser version and the windows app. Was working fine until earlier today, and for no apparent reason I am unable to add/change/delete text within a box. Any ideas?
I am on a personal board, so no permissions involved.
