Do votes count if you don't hit "done" before the timer ends?

If the voting timer ends and someone hasn’t hit “done”, will the votes they did cast still count in the voting results?

I just did a quick test and it does look like the votes are being counted even if the Done button wasn’t pressed before the timer expired.
