Apple Pencil Pro Issue: Writing Disappears Immediately After Lifting Pen in Miro

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Apple Pencil Pro on an iPad M2 while using Miro. Every time I write or draw, the strokes disappear immediately after the pencil is no longer in contact with the screen.

Here’s what I’ve already tried to resolve the issue:

  • Disabled the double-tap gesture in the Apple Pencil settings.
  • Adjusted Miro’s touch and gesture settings, including disabling undo gestures.
  • Enabled Draw only with Apple Pencil to prevent unintended touch inputs.
  • Updated both Miro and iPadOS to the latest versions.
  • Restarted and reconnected the Apple Pencil.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the problem. Has anyone else faced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions for a fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated—this is making Miro impossible to use with the Apple Pencil Pro.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @REJ-1

Thanks for sharing the details of your issue and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. Since the problem persists despite these efforts, it would be best to escalate this to Miro Support for further investigation.

I recommend submitting a support ticket and including:

  • Your Miro app version
  • Your iPadOS version
  • A screen recording showing the issue
  • Whether the issue happens on a blank board or only with specific content

This will help the support team diagnose the problem more effectively. You can submit a ticket here: Miro Support.
