Deprovisioned Accounts Not Deactivated in Miro

We’re using SCIM to provision accounts via Okta. When we deprovision an account I want the account deactivated in Miro. Instead, the account is being set to Free (Restricted). How do I change this?

Was it helpful?

@Steve Fitzgerald - While I can't answer this question, I can direct you to how to open a Miro support ticket for assistance with this (if you haven't reached out to them already):

@Steve Fitzgerald - I got poking around in the REST API docs as I thought you may need to end up periodically deactivating users via the REST API, but then I came across this in the Setting up automated provisioning with OKTA help center doc:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036768134-Setting-up-automated-provisioning-with-OKTA#01GJNC5WW0N94BV3SXDZE04M9H

Miro SCIM API makes use of a part of metadata OKTA attaches to users and groups. This section explains the required mappings between Miro SCIM API and OKTA attributes.

  1. On the application settings page switch to Provisioning > To App tab. Click Edit and enable checkboxes next to Create Users, Update User Attributes and Deactivate Users section

Will this do what you’re looking for? (I have zero hands-on experience with SCIM and Okta.)
