Copy and Paste Only Remembers Clipboard

If I copy and paste an external asset (e.g. from a power point) onto my board, afterwards when I try to copy any miro elements (eg. a text box, a sticky note) it’ll always paste the external asset I grabbed the latest it will never grab the miro element again.

@randycywang - Oh, I see you’re in Toronto – greetings from Saskatchewan! /=S=/ (ex-Kingstonian).

Have you tried:

  1. An incognito window in Chrome?
  2. Another browser?
  3. The Miro desktop app?

While those suggestions are not a solution, they may help to isolate the issue.

If you are using a paid Miro subscription, you can open a Miro support ticket by following these instructions:

@randycywang - Things are working as expected for me in Windows 11 Home, 64-bit, using Chrome.

How are you accessing Miro?

I’m accessing Miro via Chrome (Version 128.0.6613.85) on my Macbook (macOS Monterey 12.6.9)

Hi Robert, greetings fellow Canuck!

I was able to solve the issue by closing the browser and relaunch Miro fresh. I guess it’s a Chrome problem.
