The template was inspired by their agile, and fully remote teamโs desire to have transparency into in-progress initiatives that impact the entire company. They needed a roadmap that wasnโt time based (because we are not waterfall), nor a full-time job to manage (because she is not a project manager.)
This format acts as a great co-creation tool to quickly gather requirements with stakeholders and immediately see the potential impact on delivery.
This roadmap showcases the greater vision and journey of the company, while providing enough detail so that anyone on the team can discern what weโre working on, and the breadth of work involved.
