I’m looking for a way to read the countdown timer from a board. I’m looking to sync & automate actions based on when the timer goes out (hide/display frames, upload images, play sound (on Zoom call), modify images & text, … there are so many ways to make things more interesting). The first hurdle is to be able to read current value of, or listen to changes to, the countdown timer.Any pointers?
In the opensource Freemind, I don’t have to leave my keyboard to add elements, but also to move them easily in my mindmap: just by using Command+ arrows, I can move them up, down or in different levels in the map, but I can not do it here, and it is a real bummer when you are throwing ideas and reorganizing them, to have to leave the keyboard to use the mouse and so on…to be honest, I won’t switch to Miro for mindmaps until I have that feature...
like the dots grid feature but It’s too distracting to eyes. Reducing the grid’s opacity and subdivision when not moving anything can fix the issue. The accurate grid should only displayed when moving the objects in the board.
As a facillitator, i want to create content on the fly on a board without the viewer seeing the input (yet). They should be unaffected from my doing (usually they are doing a specific task and i want to prepare the next without spoiling).
It will be very helpful if Miro has “stay signed in” option in the App. Without this option, I have to login around 5 times a day which is annoying. Stay signin option may help to reduce the repeated logins
Currently the “Unlock all” command is only available when a locked element is selected. This doesn’t make sense in my opinion since you do not want to do anything with the selected element but with all locked elements. Therefore “Unlock all” should always be available and if possible triggerable with a keyboard shortcut.
As a Board Owner I want to have a feature that allows to lock specific objects or Elements on different kind of editing settings, so people don’t edit objects by accident while trying to drag them for example. Sometimes it is usefull that specific elements are locked on certain features. So people won’t accidently transform elements by trying to drag them. So I would love to have the option as an Board Owner to lock certain editing Features on certain objects. The features has to be narrowed down to element wise settings, so I’m able to lock only specific elements.
Changing anything in a Talktrack is not possible without rerecording it from the beginning, which can be very time consuming.I would like to edit a Talktrack by cutting parts out and adding parts in, or combining different Talktracks into one.
I added a foto from a wall with some Post-its (analog sticky notes) and hand-written comments on that to my Miro board. With the AI feature, OI could remove the background, so that only the sticky notes were present. It would be really great, if I can extract and automatically create Miro Sticky notes from the picture - so, a complete digital version of the picture. Half the way has been gone so far. Please finalize it. :-) BR,Andreas
I would like to be able to select a custom placement for labels on objects. Example: The VM object in the image below has a “Client” label which is placed below the object by default. The arrow going out from the bottom of the object overlaps the label. I would like to be able to drag the label to anywhere else next to the object or select a new placement of the label from a list (top/bottom/left/right).
When using maps, capital cities for example can be read when utterly zoomed in but also when zooming out to continent level. We are working with rather complex workflows, which require us to zoom in and out like a map. To keep a better overview and quicker understanding and orientation, we wished very much that there was a setting, where we could set “capital city boxes” that can be read in close view as also from the “continental” view. Just setting one large font would not sort this as this would be too big for the close view. It would need to readjust with zooming in and out. Thank you!
Currently, when you make a selection, all objects that are within or touch the section boundaries are selected. If you could add a second option; while making a selection and holding a modifier key, then only the enclosed items are selected.
I am new to Miro and found the “Brainstorming” template with all the sticky notes useful. It would be great if the “add list” feature was available in sticky notes.
It would be really useful for maths teaching to have geometry tools such as a protractor and compass available to model constructions to students.
OpenProject is an open source prject management sollution like Jira.OpenProject - Open Source Projektmanagement-SoftwareIt has even some nice enterprize features as well.Since I´ve read about the Jira connector I would like to implement it for OpenProject to make project management better and more efficient.3 benefits of Miro's powerful Jira integration | MiroBlog OpenProject has a well described API.OpenProject API v3 IntroductionIt is even possible to work with webhooks.Webhooks (openproject.org) To orginize and report the project I would need a sync between the UserStorys of OpenProject and Miro.
Some of our process maps can get very large. Many owners as well as lengthy processes. I wish there was a way to imbed the owner of the swim lane in the background of the swim lane so I don’t have to navigate all the way to the left to identify which swim lane I’m in.
Currently, Miro is supporting 1 attribute for SSO sign in. Would be great if Miro can support a dual attribute for the SSO - following the industry standard. By 1 attribute, it complicated things and need to cross check multiple tables to have the attribute sync with whatever data source we are sending.
Sometimes when I create a presentation of frames using the left Frames panel, I want to return to a previous frame.Instead of duplicating the frame and hoping that I can keep track of changes to either or both, I’d like to instead “duplicate” the same frame in the list of frames to be presented. This wouldn’t cause a loop because it could continue on.So using Frames A B C D E F and G as examples, my presentation flow could be A B C D B E F B G, with B being a recurring slide and idea.
When moving through different teams or projects it would be great if the URL breadcrumb could change. Sometimes we just want to add URLs into our jira tickets directly to the project rather than the individual board. There is currently no way to do this which becomes frustrating
It would be very helpful for Miro to either have a spell checking facility or integrate to a service such as Grammarly. As obviously you only spot your mistakes when either presenting your frames or printing them out for review! Cheers Robert
