We use the kanban board swimlanes for our user stories, i.e. the tasks in a swimlane represent subtasks of this userstory. Therefore the swimlane name should be the user story name, but it’s usually too short. It would be nice if we could adjust the column width or the texts size of the swimlane title to make the kanban board more comprehensible.
When I have a hierarchy of Epic - Story - Subtask in Jira (which is the standard setting for a Scrum project in Jira), the planner’s swimlanes based on the parent field displays Epic-based swimlanes instead of Story-based swimlanes. For a team with 120 subtasks for 8 Stories within 1-2 epics in a Sprint, this behaviour makes the move from Jira to Miro impossible. Can you please make swimlanes based on the direct parent?
Ideally the Quarters view in Settings would create Quarters based on the time period input, vs a default Jan-Dec calendar year. It is really a great new feature so I’m stoked to see how it evolves!
It would be great though to limit a talktrack on a Frame to enable copying the frame INCLUDING the talktrack to another canvas. Usecase would be to reuse your content, e.g. training sections, on other canvases.
It would be useful to have the ability to filter the user list by Team admins and then be able to export that list. The use case for us was to be able to identify them for some communications we are planning.
Hi, I would like to see a feature where I can group my timeline (tables) by a multiselect column and it will visualize a line per every value in the column. That would mean when some record has multiple values this record will be drawn multiple times.Right now when I have two values in column selected for the record it will group me this as aggregated value.
Locking the elements of a board that you don’t want anyone to mess with is really critical to running a successful workshop - anyone that has had a workshop where a participant accidentally moves, removes, or duplicates large elements of a board will know what I am talking about. For complex boards, thought it can be very difficult and time consuming to manage locked elements, when you need to make update, etc. Every component of a Miro board should be part of one of two standard layers in any miro board: protected and unprotected. Graphical shapes, Text, etc. should default to protected, and sticky notes, voting dots should by default be unprotected. When you “lasso select” multiple elements in a section of your board, you should then be able to define if you want to select the protected components or the unprotected components. and you can then easily lock the part that you want to protect from being manipulated by a user.If you as the facilitator have to update the board in the middle of the workshop, it would also be great if you could unlock elements, but only for you and not for the rest. This way you can make any updates, without risking that the participants by accident mess up the now unlocked part of the board.
The new Voting dot tool is a great addition to enable dot voting, where you can see where multiple dots are placed - i.e. visualizing heatmap voting. As a beginning it is a very nice tool, but it would be great if it also could work a little like the voting system in the top right bar:ability to limit how many votes a participant can use ability to define the colors of the dots and how many dots are visible If limiting to one dot, there should be a setting that the initials of the participants to be on the dot (strawpoll voting)
The new Sticky Notes Stack are a great new addition to Miro. Makes the boards so much easier to setup and prepare for workshops with note and vote, etc. Has some drawbacks though:Should be possible to set the color Should be possible to make it rectangularAnd it would be really great if one could add an initial header text string that all notes would start with, i.e.” HMW Can We I Wish… Etc.
Currently every new node on the same level automatically gets a connector line with a new colour. This is annoying and visually unnecessary. Need a way to turn this behaviour off by default. If users what to play with colours let that be an extra setting. There's absolutely not semantic meaning of having different colours on the same level. This is a business tool and not a colouring book. Please turn this off.
Would it be possible to add a “resolve” feature to document comments? This feature does exist for regular comments in Miro: But isn’t available in document comments:I would like to be able to check back into the comments of a document to see which comments were resolved.

Hi miro team,The tooltip action items bar is not accessible... kindly fix this please I really love This miro
When I copy rows of text from a document (not from a table), and paste this into Miro, I would like to have the option to convert each row of text into a sticky note. Eg I have five sentences, with or without a bullet, and want each of them to be a sticky note, without having to copy paste each sentence manually onto a sticky note. Right now I see this feature is available when copying rows of text from a table, but not from just a regular doc (eg word). Thanks!
Hello!I am used to working with Figjam for my UX activities, and a feature that I think Miro would greatly benefit from is the possibility to have frames within frames.Every time I have to work with other teams in my organization, I find myself having to create groups in order to move things around, but once I have to export in PDF, the content inside the larger frame doesn’t show. I have to be careful in what order I create the frames so that the PDF export works correctly, and as a UXer, I find it rather counter-intuitive.It would be awesome if this feature was added to Miro!
I want to show Jira filters, not boardsI would like to paste a jira filter URL onto my Miro board, and have those issues displayed in table form, similar to the Boards but for Filters
Hi, I really love how miro is helping me and my team doing engaging and fun retrospectives. So far it's a great tool but I would love to have a missing feature which is to easily combine two sticky notes or cards. This is normally a common use case after a brainstorming or gathering insights phase in a retrospective when you ask the team to combine similar ideas or topics. Thank you and keep working on this lovable tool.
Every other object in Miro can be scaled. Mind maps should be no different. Do I really have to take a screenshot of my mind map and paste it as an image to scale it? That’s redonkulus...
It would be great to have the possibility to have a customizable banner on the top of all boards. This could be used to refer the existing company policies like security and data managements policies and guidelines, etc….AT the very top of the board, in between the board name and data classification and the facilitation tools (voting, and reactions) there’s plenty of space to put a small logo and 2 customizable sentences that can be used for whatever the company needs. That would not impact too much in the usable space as at the end those other existing buttons also remove some vision space from the board view
