    Automatic Account ExpirationOpen

    It would be helpful to have the ability to set an expiration date on free or full accounts. Our company is a consulting company so we are constantly adding accounts to our organization. Projects can last a few years so cleaning up access can become extremely difficult. Being able to automatically deactivate accounts without removing them from teams/projects/boards would allow us to quickly reactivate accounts that need to remain in the organization. This would greatly help manage who has access as your organization grows.

    Multiple sets of Saved Frames for one boardOpen

    Our team creates hundreds of frames as we compile ideas. I wish I could save my own set of frames in my own specific order for various levels of audiences I need to present to.Sometimes I need the full set of frames, but sometimes I only need a subset. Having all the content in one spot is great so I don’t have to duplicate tons of things. Also, since I don’t own all the content/assets being added or updated, it’s better that I’m creating frames off the true working board and not a snapshot copy of it.This could piggyback off some of the ideas people have said of hiding slides. Maybe we could export our own frame order & what is shown or hidden.For example, while working with various parts of our design team in different disciplines, I’d like to be able to create a presentation about all of the work, but also other presentations that are more specific or relevant to my immediate team. ie. How can I share a 50,000-ft view, 1000-ft view and 10-ft read?

    Enable Miro board integration with Confluence and Monday.com to work on the native Safari browser on Mac without disabling a privacy featureOpen

    Currently, Miro board integration with Confluence and Monday.com does not work on the latest/native Safari browser on Mac (macOS Monterey) until “prevent cross-site tracking” privacy feature is disable. By doing that, it exposes user’s Mac machines to those tracking websites and sacrifices user’s privacy. I would like to see Miro board integration with Confluence and Monday.com can work nicely and seamlessly on Safari/Mac without disabling “prevent cross-site tracking” privacy feature.

    Allow transfer of ownership to guest editorsOpen

    On a regular basis I build boards for customers and invite them to work on my board as guests. Sometimes I need to transfer ownership to the customer afterwards. Currently this is not possible, as guests cannot be authorized to become an owner.The standard procedure would be to add a customer to my account (and pay for a day pass or a team member), transfer ownership, and then remove the customer from my account again. It should be possible to transfer ownership without having to pay for that…!

    Object TemplatesOpen

    It would be great if we could create “object templates” from groups of board objects that were painstakingly put together for use across many boards as a standard element for teams.This is different than board templates as the objects would appear in a “template objects” selector on any board to allow easy access and import of the specific group of objects you have saved out for frequent use.This is also more efficient and organized that copy/pasting selected objects between boards.Workflow:Select a group of objects on a Miro board and choose “Save As Object Template”. Choose to save the selection as a new Object Template (or overwrite/update an existing Object Template). On a new Miro board, go to the Object Template pulldown/button and choose a template (folder organization, tags, and search filtering all nice to have) and choose the desired Object Template.

    Add German Templates and include German Template Challenges into the CommunityOpen

    Hiwe’ve got a German section here in the community but we cannot upload any German template into the Miroverse … Because of this we cannot download any German template …There are Template Challenges but only for English templates … we’ve got even yet enough German Miro users that are specialists in creating German templates so why not giving them a chance to create some. I am shure there are enough good German users for a Jury …At the oscars we’ve got foreingn speaking film as a section, too.So why not:At the next Template Challenge include German and maybe Spanish Templates, too. I know the Spanish Miro users maybe are as much as German users ...@Mironeers: This would be consistent step into the German market and would be a sign for us German users and a chance to use miro more for a typical German-Use of templates So please vote for this … and Mironeers: Open the  gates and bridges and tear down the existing disadvantages for us German users so that we can start our race on the Miro plattform without restrictions - PleaseMichael

    Export digraph arcsOpen

    Can we please have a way to export all the nodes and arcs.I can do this with things like Visio, Axon and most other graph-based software.As an old dotty/lefty user from way back, I get very claustrophoibic when I know that all the work I do in a platform is locked in. Now, I can export text, but much more important than text or pictures for me is the graph being built (named objects/nodes and the network of links/arcs/ etc).  I’d feel so much more comfortable spending time building in Miro, if I knew the underlying graph would not be locked in, so I could use it in code generation, reference dataset design, topic maps,. etc. That would help me feel that Miro has more grit to it than just being a very pretty and group-friendly painting tool.

    In my workshops or projects I sometimes have several steps of building / brainstorming / … where after every phase there is sort of a ‘conclusion / summary’ of that phase. Having all those steps in the same board can become very chaotic, if I also want to keep the brainstorm process in order to leave trace of it. My dream would be to be able to have one overview board, in which each time the final frame of the brainstorm process is embedded. This way each brainstorm phase is on a sub board, but the overview board has the overview of the conclusions of all the phases together.I thought that embedding one board into another with the iframe code would be the solution, but in order to view the other board I need to click on play, so I can’t automatically see all the embedded boards together, what is part of the solution. Copying that final frame is also not a solution, because it is the goal to have the updated version of every subboard at all times.Have I missed something where my wish is possible?

    Make just the width of a sticky adjustableOpen

    I would like to be able to adjust just the width of a sticky, without adjusting its height and text size as well. I love the stickies, but find that organizing them and making them readable once they have been submitted is challenging because the text wrapping often makes splits words and wraps them over two lines. Adjusting the size of the sticky to fix the text wrapping often then results in stickies of a variety of sizes, and therefore different font sizes, that makes it difficult to read all of the stickies at a common level of zoom.Therefore I am seeking a solution that would fix the text wrapping or make the arrangement of stickies more flexible via more resizing options, to increase the readability and aesthetic appeal of stickies.

    Recent / Favorite ShapesOpen

    When creating a flow (my personal use-case is for ITSM processes) it would be really helpful to have recent shapes (including their formatting/color/etc) available as a quick list. I think the best option would be on the right-click menu, with smaller versions of those shapes available to click on. Perhaps there’s functionality along these lines that I am not aware of, but I think it’d be a good addition.

    Keyboard shortcut for lasso and other pen tool optionsOpen

    Keyboard shortcuts for tools are super helpful, but none of the sub-options of the pen tool have shortcuts such as the lasso tool, highlighter, pen 1, 2, or 3, smart shape etc.These are great tools, but to switch tools I have to take my eyes off where I’m working...scan way over to the left...(this can be far away on a large screen)...select the new tool and then move my eyes and pen back to where I was…this is a significant slowdown in being able to draw on the screen.If I could have one hand on my pen and the other on the keyboard and just switch tools as necessary...I could double the speed at which I work. This is especially true when doing things like organizing stickies during brainstorming or storymapping sessions. Having people watch me switch tools isn’t a good use of their time. The tool switch breaks focus and concentration.You have them for some tools...just asking to fill out the set of available shortcuts.I’m new to Miro and love it, mostly--this would bring it a step closer to awesome :)

    On Schedule or On Change Embedded Content Refresh (incl. Web Pages)Open

    We are starting to use Miro a lot at the organization I would at (which has over 100,000 employees) and one use case we seek often is for embedded content such as Google Sheet, Google Slide or Web Pages to be updated “On Change” (i.e. if the source changes) or at least on a selectable schedule (e.g. daily, weekly, etc.).  I think this is a common use case for teams looking to review metrics/performance on a regular periodic basis (and they don’t want to have to refresh each embedded element individually).

    Restricting student accessOpen

    As a teacher navigating distance education (online and in class but spaced), how do I restrict student access to just when I am working with them? Or just be able to edit their own work? I have had students delete my work and change my work, and change the work of other students.  I foresee problems if the student has access to a board and then goes back into a board while I am offline.  I also must protect against students adding inappropriate material or comments into a shared board. Please help me figure out how to promote collaboration without giving the students the open forum for mischievousness.

    Automatic replace internal links when duplicate or import boadsOpen

    When I impor or duplicate boards with internal links, they link to original board.  Will be great if, when duplicate or import boards, Miro automatic replace internal links with links from new board. Maybe can have an option button in this process for select replace or not replace.

    Many thanks to all making Distributed 2021 work, I am having an awesome time and learning to better utilize Miro more efficiently.I was wondering if there might be a way to issue users to specific colors of post-it notes? This would be helpful for brainstorming and prevent any confusion in case people accidentally choose the wrong color or do not use the color which was originally assigned. Maybe this can also be used for comments as well So that we can easily identify who commented at first glance.

    @Miro, would love to be able to create custom postit colours. Reason is if you want to set up a grid of coloured postits for different users, theres a limited palette, which can be restrictive when building templates This could also help when you have groups of people with different types of colour blindness as your palette will be reduced even further… ...second feature, please let me see different types of colour blindness overlays so that I can be sure a colleague who has a form of colour blindness is able to access my board well

    Silent BrainstormingOpen

    Hi, I would like a feature where people on a board can ‘silent brainstorm’  The how - people write down on many stickies as they like their ideas or answers to a question without anyone else seeing. Then when the timer is up or everyone is done, all the stickies are revealed.  The why - sometimes when people are group brainstorming people can hold back their idea if they see someone else has put something similar. I would like to increase team discussion on the similar/same stickies to help the team understand the differences or similarities in thinking that happens within the team.  Thanks, Joe

    Option to duplicate comments when duplicating Miro frames (within 1 same board or scross another board)Open

    Useful when we want to archive past work into another new board, in order to keep the loading time short in the existing board and to maintain the same existing board link for easy communication across teams. We don’t want to lose any past comment threads that have been discussed - both unresolved and resolved. So, it would be nice if there is a select option to allow duplicating of comment threads, while duplicating every other components that have been selected.

    Restore Voting "save for later"Open

    The “improved” voting announced 10/14 removed the ability to configure a voting session for “save for later”.  Having voting sessions pre-configured for parts of a workshop where students are indicating preferences makes for MUCH better flow - vs them having to watch the configuration a voting session. This ability was introduced a year earlier, as documented here.
