a feature that automatically changes the team license when someone with education license joins would be cool. also i dont wanna have to go on a wish list to submit the idea i already submitted over mail. thats your guys job lol. and then i would get someone to rehaul the entire system to make it more understandable, user friendly and also more logical through user testing etc.
A way to create comments, lists, board annotations, such as the one already present or simply a text space linked to a board but not shared, for personal using only!MF
I am trying to create wireframes for a mobile game and I need to articulate the rotation of the device with a pop-up. Unfortunately, I do not have either the option to rotate or mirror an icon or the horizontal layout of the device as an icon.I can not say it is a critical feature, but I guess will be nice to have and it will be easier to be implemented until the rotation of most objects becomes a thing. The possible solution for right now is combining icons but not presenting the idea in the way users are used to seeing it.
Shortcuts for pen and zoom - keys “p” and “[“ are close to each other on the keyboard. So when i want to press “p” sometimes i press “[“ instead, and this courses zoom to minimize. And then i need to find my place on the board. How to return back quickly?
Hi, My students can’t use any links on the board which I share for viewing. That’s a pity. Links can be opened on iPads, tablets or laptops but not mobiles, unfortunately. This means my fast finishing students can’t open extra links unless they have a tablet at hand (which they don’t). Such a shame!
Hi! I'm the lead developer of https://yap.wags.fm and a Miro user since 2018. wags.fm is a collaborative platform for music creation.I'd love to build a Miro plugin that allows snippets of text on boards to be interpreted as audio so that people can have music on their boards, similar to wags.fm.I tried porting the stack from yap.wags.fm to Miro as a plugin and it works fine except that Chrome blocks the web audio context from playing because the button click on Miro does not propagate down to the iframe.I was wondering if it would be able to add a new auth scope for plugins, ie "sound", that would direct Miro to set allows="autoplay" on the iframe (or something similar, there are a couple ways to achieve this)?
v - selecth - handBut actually both of them are switched on turn. And so these two shortcuts are useless. It is very annoying to press v one or two times and look if it is select or hand now.It would be better, if once pressing v or h you could be sure select or hand tool is on and don’t need to look at cursor.
Hi everyone!I am designing a Miro Workshop mode as a personal project, I just created a Prototype for a new user role and would love to hear your thoughts! this is the prototype:(you can open full screen mode by pressing the F key) Have a good one :)
We have tons of wish and idea, but no feedback about the place they have in your backlogs.I would be great to be informed(*) when the wish / idea is read by community manager read by product owner read by UX use to create a backlog item use to achieve a backlog item the progress of the backlog item the backlog item is open to challenged by the community (*) by an explicit marker in the original post.
Sometimes I need to refer back to a Miro board which has been shared with me during a meeting or via an email, outside of a Team of which I am a member. It would be helpful to have a list of boards which have been shared with me. Google Drive has this sort of functionality.I can’t quite see where this would fit within the existing interface, however, as the sidebar with ‘All boards’ and ‘Starred boards’ is specific to each Team. Perhaps it would be necessary to have a virtual Team which just collected Boards shared with me. Going further, these Boards could be organised by me into Projects within that Team. Going much further, I might be able to move them into other Teams so that they appeared in logical places, but I’m aware this could be a real stretch!
Would it be possible to create the capability to be able to print out a list of Personal Templates stored in Miro?A list would help to keep up to date with all templates created. Thank you
In enterprise organization, we centralize documentation of product. In Miro interface, it would be great to be able ton override /insert some link (like help) to point to our homemade help. It’s our responsibility to point back to Miro doc/tuto we don’t have personalized/translated.So 2 needs.1° Let us add an entry in this menu. 2° let us keep the URL to back to existing entries in our doc.It was need proposed by my collaborators. Now I say as example how I imagine the feature. In admin, I can view the menu structure I can add an entry with a logo, a text, a subtext, an URL I can find URL of existing/entry; I can disable existing entryBonusI can add more than one entry with a logo, a text, a subtext, a URL I can reorder entries I can choose a logo in a set (of the Miro interface style) instead to only add mine I can translate existing entries (and you can keep our translation to propose an I18n to Miro offers)
Everything need to be done is deactivating the viewport transition between two linked points in the canvas. By doing so Miro levels up to become a proper tool for building immersive user flows. Can’t wait to see this coming. Hopeful, Kalle
Hi! is it possible to deactivate the Animation when navigating between frames? Got a bit See Sick :-) Thanks!Ravid
When I select Epic Link in the card configuration, it’s pulling through the EPic Jira ID rather than the Epic Name. Epic Name cannot be used as that is a field used in Epics, not other Jira types. What I want it to display is as it does in Jira, if you look at the Epic Link on a Jira it displays the name of the Epic not the Jira reference (which unless you really know your Epics will mean nothing to you!). It is using the JQL version of the Epic logic - i.e. “ AND Epic = “Title of my Epic” gets changed in a JQL to “AND Epic = AAA-1234” (or whatever your Jira reference is). What I’m seeing on Miro is AAA-1234 (for example) which is that helpful!
Problem: When I want to add tags, I end up overwriting the card's title. What happens:Click a card Click the tags icon Start typing Card's title is changed. What I would like it to happen:Click a card Click the tags icon Start typing Tags are filtered based on my input, card title is not changed hitting enter adds the visible tags.
A questionnaire for new users based on what and how they expect to use Miro, each template should be categorized into one or more use-case profiles. And then utilize that matrix to build the questionnaire that the user chooses to provide them the most best match template to use. The reason for this is that, as a new user, trawling through hundereds of templates is not a great way for a new user to start using Miro, quite tough to understand how to make that first start , especially when you see so many videos of how good people are using it, but how do you really make that start and the right start is very important. This is so that every user of Miro can come up with a brilliant story or video of how good Miro is for them, not just a few.
A function for Miro would be to take a "photo" of how the frame is, saving only image locations, frames and these blocks, and in case people disorganize Miro you can go back to the "save" of the photo keeping what it was. written
Would it be possible for more automated locking of assets on boards, much time is spent grouping and locking everything after designing a board. More often than not it ends up being the same type of assets. Would it be possible to bring in more automation for these processes? Many thanks.
