Please prioritize offline mode. It’s the main reason I cannot fully commit to or recommend Miro to others.

We need to be able to manipulate content when offline, to sync later when online. If there are conflicting copies trying to sync, multiple copies can be saved (e.g. Dropbox) to resolve manually later.

With offline mode, I believe Miro would be the obvious choice in the personal and collaborative white board market.

Thank you, Miro Team

This could also really help during any service outages... Just saying!

Oct 20, 2025 is my first experience with a service outage from Miro. I am completely blocked. If I could at least see my boards (even without being able to edit or create new objects) I could still work.

My school district has blocked miro (after I’ve been using it daily for five years) and now I cannot use the whiteboard that I relied on. An offline feature that I could log into from my hotspot in the morning and have open throughout the day would allow me to continue using the app. Without it I will now have to find another app to use and none of them have the same features as Miro.

An offline mode is needed-- no more excuses. The original post was created 5 years ago. A google search AI response says there is an offline mode, but this function doesn’t seem to be a reality when following the instructions. My partner and I are working on a creative project collaboratively in Miro. We came to a creative retreat in the mountains of Mexico and the internet is almost non-existent here. I found the corner of a mess hall with ample internet and really need to keep offline access to a board so I can work on it from my living quarters-- doesn’t matter if it remains collaborative or not, just need to be able to access the data and continue building on it somehow. If google drive can figure it out, Miro should be able to as well, right? Bogus.

Thanks for calling out this video. There are currently no offline capabilities in Miro. The video you shared is false and the visual steps outlined are not even aligning with the narrator is saying.

To clarify this for people, I added a note above the video.

I will also alert the Miro Community Team to the presence of the false and misleading video.
