Agree with everyone on this thread. C’mon Miro, this is important. Even to just be able to view a cached copy of all your ‘Starred boards’ or ‘Recent boards’ in the desktop app while working offline would be super helpful…
offline mode pls!
as an example i’d like to prepare a workshop on the train and be sure that my notes/work gets saved even though the connection is on and off.
Would be good enough to only have that functionality on the desktop app for instance and even with a maximum amount of work that can be saved offline before having to connect online.
4 years of this thread, 8 pages of people adding comments and plus ones - I’ve often wished this was a feature.
Now I’m sat on a train struggling to access a presentation that I need to add notes to… Once again, I’m stuck because there’s no offline mode!
So I’ll go muddle along in Ppt I guess, which is less than ideal.
It stops Miro being the tool that solves all problems which seems a shame, other than this it’s so immensely versatile, and one of the subscriptions I have the least quibbles about paying for.
Offline would be a game-changer, though. Such a shame this still hasn’t been picked up by the dev team - you need to have a stiff word with your PO!!
How has this post/wish been up for 4 years and this feature still doesn’t exist? Come on Miro you got this!
Yet another oft pined-for feature that’s a no-brainer, being repeatedly requested for years, and technically known, and yet complete silence from the Miro team. AGAIN.
I guess it’s possible that there are other features that are more important and i’m just uniquely out of sync with the masses. But every time i see the list of Miro updates i can’t help but wonder “Who the f… wanted that and why.” While the really helpful features, like the offline mode, have been hanging for 4 years.
Putting in another comment for this. I’m having trouble pitching for adoption of Miro at my company because offline connectivity is a requirement.
Bump
More people need offline mode.
It would be great to have an offline mode, it would make Miro better than PureRef!
after 4 years and not even a reason as to why they won’t implement this.
why in this modern age of web app development, 2024*, they can’t enable offline mode. it’s like they’re doing it for a reason and expect everyone lives in silicon valley with perfect internet connection
i’ve been using it on/off for 4 years and really just hoping this simple issue would be around the corner. i’ve lost faith and i’m now looking at a way to export all my work to one of the ‘many’ alternatives that have sprung up since then. if i can’t export it, i’ll be starting new projects in the alternative. I know they obviously won’t listen to me (or to this thread at all), but i’ve had enough that they avoid such a simple matter (could at least make it work offline if there’s no collaborators)
*i put the year there because i’m sure people will still be reading this thread in another 4 years
I’ll be dreaming about Offline mode during my 13-hours flight
Hello Miro Team? Are you there? Anybody listening??
The lack of an offline mode for existing boards is really holding back my use of miro in so many ways. Please make this happen.
About to get on a 13 hour flight, would love to have an offline mode.
