Hello Miro Team, I am pretty sure you guys on fire now with huge demand for your product, but Miro need an offline mode for iPad, it is just not possible to use it if connection interrupted, people are using this not only for constant collaboration, there a lot of people who do some preparation for projects, and these situations not really need the connection. But when you can’t use the app it is the most frustration time, when you start thinking why such smart people couldn’t figure out this.

Do not listen PMs if the telling you this is not what customers need! We need this! We need to be able to work with app in any conditions.

this do not has to load everything, just have some sort of buffering of last sessions, we need this mode to add something new, not to view old.

Hope to see it soon.

Ed

Agree with everyone on this thread. C’mon Miro, this is important. Even to just be able to view a cached copy of all your ‘Starred boards’ or ‘Recent boards’ in the desktop app while working offline would be super helpful…

offline mode pls!

as an example i’d like to prepare a workshop on the train and be sure that my notes/work gets saved even though the connection is on and off.

Would be good enough to only have that functionality on the desktop app for instance and even with a maximum amount of work that can be saved offline before having to connect online.

4 years of this thread, 8 pages of people adding comments and plus ones - I’ve often wished this was a feature.

Now I’m sat on a train struggling to access a presentation that I need to add notes to… Once again, I’m stuck because there’s no offline mode!

So I’ll go muddle along in Ppt I guess, which is less than ideal.

It stops Miro being the tool that solves all problems which seems a shame, other than this it’s so immensely versatile, and one of the subscriptions I have the least quibbles about paying for.

Offline would be a game-changer, though. Such a shame this still hasn’t been picked up by the dev team - you need to have a stiff word with your PO!!

How has this post/wish been up for 4 years and this feature still doesn’t exist? Come on Miro you got this!

Yet another oft pined-for feature that’s a no-brainer,  being repeatedly requested for years,  and technically known,  and yet complete silence from the Miro team.   AGAIN.

I guess it’s possible that there are other features that are more important and i’m just uniquely out of sync with the masses.  But every time i see the list of Miro updates i can’t help but wonder “Who the f… wanted that and why.”   While the really helpful features, like the offline mode, have been hanging for 4 years.

Putting in another comment for this. I’m having trouble pitching for adoption of Miro at my company because offline connectivity is a requirement.

Bump 🙏
More people need offline mode.

It would be great to have an offline mode, it would make Miro better than PureRef!

after 4 years and not even a reason as to why they won’t implement this.

why in this modern age of web app development, 2024*, they can’t enable offline mode.  it’s like they’re doing it for a reason and expect everyone lives in silicon valley with perfect internet connection

i’ve been using it on/off for 4 years and really just hoping this simple issue would be around the corner.  i’ve lost faith and i’m now looking at a way to export all my work to one of the ‘many’ alternatives that have sprung up since then.  if i can’t export it, i’ll be starting new projects in the alternative.  I know they obviously won’t listen to me (or to this thread at all), but i’ve had enough that they avoid such a simple matter (could at least make it work offline if there’s no collaborators)

*i put the year there because i’m sure people will still be reading this thread in another 4 years

+1

I’ll be dreaming about Offline mode during my 13-hours flight 😪

Hello Miro Team? Are you there? Anybody listening??

The lack of an offline mode for existing boards is really holding back my use of miro in so many ways. Please make this happen.

About to get on a 13 hour flight, would love to have an offline mode.

Just come off a four hour journey. I could have done four hours of work with an offline mode. Instead I got about 35 mins, completely fragmented, impossible to maintain a train of thought through the frustration.

It would be easier to understand if someone from Miro could actually be bothered to come here, speak to users and maybe try and make sense of why this update we’ve been asking for for four years isn’t coming, but the radio silence makes me feel like they just don’t care and it’s time to go somewhere else.

Any update on this Miro???
Judging by a total mismash of features that find their way into each new release, while the truly important ones keep languishing for years, i’ve lost any faith in the upvote counter. Whoever is making these decisions at Miro is not looking at these upvotes.

Calling on all Miro users to demand the disclosure of each release feature backlog to crowdsource the truth prior to each release.  Let us, the real users, give you a reality check.  And, I’m positive, we can save you from adding features that nobody wants.

So many years and still counting. I get it—the AI race is here 🚀, but we do not need another AI auto-summary or auto-format feature. At least not prior to offline mode.

When I was leaving Figma for Miro, I was like “Wow, wow, and wow—so many things done better.” But even Figma has an offline mode. 🤯

I want Miro primarily as a note-taking tool when I don’t have any distractions around me. And internet = usually distractions. Get it? 😏

Hundreds, if not thousands, of users cannot use it for note-taking in times when they can use it the most. 🤷‍♂️

Totall agree, an Offline Feature plus Folders in Projects / Spaces would make the highest impact for how, where and when I use Miro. All fingers crossed it comes sometime soon 🤞🤞🤞

So I guess this is where all the real Miro users hang out…

I agree with everyone else, I don’t need new features, I don’t need AI gimmicks. I need to know if I have no internet I can still work with my Miro boards.

Frequently need to do long distance travel where I need access to Miro to prep workshop boards, so I am the only person who needs access.  This feature would be a dream to have, as currently I need to work in a separate space/doc/system and then copy everything over :(

Please Stuff of Miro get back on that topic to us members and give answers. Already good examples of how to get it done had been made. So as' an offline version of a Board would be saved /example_1/ and will be automatically deleted after 10 days ...  Start giving signs of working on that issue.
