Microsoft Loop is now GA and built into Teams.

Loop Components are being developed by Microsoft and 3rd party software companies are building innovative real-time components.

Loop components are now in Microsoft Whiteboard.

See (125) Real-Time Collaboration | Microsoft Loop Updates for Admins - YouTube

Supporting Loop Components in Miro would be a game changer and another compelling reason for Microsoft users to stay with Miro.

Agreed! A few days ago I opened up MS Whiteboard to poke around (to see if they are making any progress towards catching up).

Within a few moments I noticed “Loop Components” and was able to add a checklist to the whiteboard. Right away I imagined that these components would be available in Teams, Outlook, a Word document, etc. and how enticing this would be to MS365/Whiteboard users. Similar functionality in/an integration with Miro should be considered a fairly high priority.

I woke up in the night last night thinking about this! Hoping that when I got online this morning I’d learn that Miro had already figured it out.

I keep all assets (including meeting notes) for each project in a Miro board. How cool would it bee to just paste in a loop from the teams meeting.

I sure do hope this feature is in the works. 🤩

Hey Miro, any roadmap update on Miro Support for Microsoft Loop components?

NB. Now has Figma Integration

Microsoft Loop continues to evolve with new features and improvements.

Here are some of the latest updates:

1. Workspace Status: A new feature allows users to view a live feed of their workspace status, including tasks, memories, and recaps, making it easier to track project progress[3].

2. Table Enhancements: Loop now offers a detail view for tables, allowing users to add more information to specific rows without cluttering the main table view[5]. Additionally, table rules have been introduced, enabling users to set up notifications for specific changes in table data[5].

3. Custom Page Templates: Users can now create and use custom Loop page templates, streamlining the process of creating consistent content across projects[5].

4. View-Only Sharing: A new sharing option allows users to share Loop content in view-only mode, enhancing control over collaborative work[5].

5. Figma Integration: Loop now integrates with Figma, expanding its collaborative capabilities[5].

6. Collapsible Headings: This feature helps organize and declutter Loop pages[5].

7. Improved Comments: The commenting system in Loop has been enhanced for better collaboration[5].

8. OneNote Integration: Loop components are now integrated with OneNote for Web, improving note-taking and collaboration experiences[3].

These updates demonstrate Microsoft's commitment to actively developing Loop and providing long-term support for the platform[4].

Still keen on seeing some progress on this

Hello,
I’d love Miro to be the place that joins all the disconnected tools. Loop is the missing puzzle in my project board, and it’s a big one. It summarises the discussions that happen remotely on Teams. Loop notes are crucial to our projects. They’re the source of our action points, jira tickets, mockups, diagrams and so on. I can collate all these other puzzles on a Miro board, yet I lack the source where they originate from - the essence of the meeting - meeting notes.

I’d love this as well

I’m literally on a planning call as I type where we’re talking about how useful this would be

Devin Richter

Have a workshop to conduct and some of our artifacts are housed in Loop to keep the collaboration possible outside of Miro...but we want it also in Miro so we don’t need to duplicate things across platforms. I found a temporary workaround.

While you can’t work in the Loop through Miro, you CAN insert iFrame code using the Loop Component link and then view the loop Component and realtime updates from the board. It’s not interactive directly, but it’s better than nothing.

Does this work for anyone else?

@Devin Richter yes, this has some limited value and as you say, better than nothing 😏

Here’s what I discovered:

What you can do:

  1. Embed Loop in an iFrame on a Miro Board
  2. Modify Loop pages that will be instantly synced to all instanced of the page everywhere
  3. Copy content into the Loop Page eg. Miro Text, Diagrams, etc.

What you cannot do:

  1. Copy content from the Loop Page to Miro
  2. Display a single Loop Page - the Loop app with content limited by user permissions is displayed.

PS. I am keen to build an integration when it’s possible and am watching for the CRUD API to become available. I’ll post again here when I know more.

See Microsoft Loop Roadmap News Dec-25 analysis:

Microsoft Graph API for Loop — Status (as of Dec 2025 → Jan 2026)

Microsoft Graph APIs for Loop are officially “In development” and targeted for release in H1 CY2026.

These upcoming APIs are specifically described as:

“Graph APIs for management — In development — H1 CY’26 — For organizations with dev teams and in-house management tools.”

This is the first time Microsoft has publicly committed to a timeframe.

🔍 What These Loop Graph APIs Will Likely Cover

Based on the context provided in the update, these APIs are intended for:

1. Workspace Management

  • Managing Loop workspaces
  • Managing Copilot Pages & Notebooks containers
  • Membership & ownership operations

2. Lifecycle & Governance Automation

  • Deletion, restoration, search, filter
  • Integration with SharePoint Embedded Admin Center

3. Enterprise & Admin Workflows

These APIs connect to the broader roadmap covering:

  • Departed user workflows
  • Group-based ownership enforcement
  • Multi-Geo workspace creation

Combined, this strongly suggests a management-focused API surface, not a content‑level API for editing Loop components (at least not initially).

🧠 Interpretation for Developers

This means:

Still NOT available today

  • No public API exists yet for:
    • Creating Loop pages or components
    • Editing Loop content
    • Programmatically interacting with Loop canvas content

But now officially scheduled

The first wave of Graph APIs will be management and admin APIs, arriving in the first half of 2026.

This is a major shift compared to earlier Microsoft answers (e.g., June 2025 Q&A) that said no APIs and no timeline.

The December 2025 update is the newest and most definitive information.

📌 Summary

Microsoft will ship the first Microsoft Graph APIs for Loop in H1 CY2026, focused on workspace and lifecycle management—not content editing—according to the December 2025 IT Admin Update.
