I’ve just found the new Add status feature on the Card widget.
Currently it only supports 3 statuses: To do, In progress and Done
It would be great if we could define custom status tags on each Board, such as “Designing” or “Won’t do” (It would be great if we could define a colour and an emoji that would show up on the tag for the custom status)

Or - at least the ability to change the names of the three options...
To be honest, I thought this would be available.
Or - just remove them and use Tags instead, cleaner...

It would be a nice feature to utilise card mores, to add more custom statues or an option to rename the current one.

I’m baffled why the card statuses duplicate the job done by Kanban columns.
Columns define progress. Status defines importance/urgency/risk/etc…
Bizarre! Please make status user definable!

Upvoting this feature, much needed.
It would be helpful to have a “Blocked” status to draw attention to an item that needs help unblocking.
I agree it would be nice to update, add or delete the card statuses in the gantt chart. To Do, In Progress, and Done are not defining enough especially if you want to present this to senior leadership.
I have the same need to add custom statuses, because we work on the stories in steps, and it would be nice for me to see at which step of readiness the story is.
My process involves working in feedback iterations with clients, where a feature has multiple stages:
Now I have to use tags for this.
It would be good to change the color of the card when the status changes.
oh - it would be so helpful to have custom status bc. using tags for status AND tags makes it very confusing…
